Asociación Cultural Saged is a non-profit cultural association constituted in Valencia, Spain, for the promotion and development of intercultural dialogue, creative education, and community-building through art, ceramics, music, and cultural programming. It provides infrastructure — physical space, legal structure, and institutional capacity — for the cultural initiatives of its members and the communities it serves.
"To build and maintain a shared creative space — physical and social — where people of different cultures, languages, and backgrounds make things together and, through that act, integrate."
Valencia is home to one of the largest Russian and Ukrainian-speaking communities in Spain. Asociación Cultural Saged was founded to provide this community — and the broader intercultural population of the city — with a stable, professionally run cultural infrastructure.
The association holds a physical studio in Ciutat Vella and operates a programme of ceramics classes, music education, children's creative workshops, and community events in Russian, Ukrainian, English, and Spanish.
It was constituted as a cultural association to formalise this work: to make it fundable, scalable, and institutionally legible — while keeping it rooted in the direct relationships and creative practices that make it work.
To promote and develop a community and cultural space around art, culture, creativity, and collective cultural initiatives.
To support the creative, cultural, and educational initiatives of community members, facilitating the conditions for their development.
To create an environment of cultural exchange, dialogue, and cooperation between people of different countries, cultures, and professions.
To develop cultural and educational programmes for the exchange of knowledge and creative practices.
To foster social integration, intercultural understanding, and active participation in the cultural life of the community.
To promote the creation and development of cultural projects, initiatives, and spaces that enrich cultural life.
Organisation of cultural encounters, events, workshops, conferences, concerts, and artistic and educational activities.
Development of cultural programmes driven by community members, with the support of the association.
Creation of educational, creative, and formative programmes for the development of skills and collective creation.
Promotion of collaboration between artists, musicians, teachers, researchers, and cultural professionals.
Organisation of artistic residencies, creative laboratories, workshops, and cultural cooperation projects.
Agreements and collaborations with public and private entities for the development of cultural and educational projects.
Fundraising through public grants, donations, and sponsorships at local, national, and European levels.
Dissemination of the association's activities through publications, digital media, and social networks.
